Strategic Branding Professional with a Global Perspective

My journey began in the Netherlands, where I discovered a passion for international business and strategic branding. With a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in International Business and a Mini-MBA, I have honed my expertise in strategic planning, branding, and cross-cultural communication. My educational background is complemented by extensive hands-on experience across diverse global markets.

Iconic. In Nighttime.
Drink Belvedere Vodka.

Iconic. In Nighttime. was my first branding project, created during my time at university.

Skyscrapers are more than just structures; they are national symbols, instantly recognizable and iconic. Drawing a parallel between skyscrapers and bottles due to their similar shapes, I was inspired to merge bottles with city skylines, using typography to craft a compelling advertisement. Given Belvedere Vodka's status as a world-class brand, recognized across various global markets, I chose to implement this concept by featuring skylines from culturally diverse cities with distinct alphabets: New York City, Hong Kong, and Tokyo. Each skyline features the phrase "Iconic. In Nighttime. Drink Belvedere Vodka" in the respective local language.

A Blueprint for Future Urban Development

Metrop is a comprehensive framework designed to revolutionize urban development by addressing the core challenges of Urban Design, Governance, and Sustainability.

 

This university project proposes a model for building a city from the ground up, focusing on creating a livable, sustainable, and efficiently governed urban area. The framework emphasizes compact, decentralized, and mixed-use planning with innovative solutions such as underground automobile infrastructure, vertical farming, and the integration of advanced technologies like Urban AI and Digital Twins.

 

The goal is to design urban spaces that not only meet the needs of their inhabitants but also set a new standard for future cities globally.

Expansion for Shake and Serve's Brand Identity in Asia

Shake and Serve, a prominent catering company specializing in cocktails and mocktails, was established in 2005 in the Netherlands. With a strong presence in Maastricht, Amsterdam, and Antwerp, Belgium, Shake and Serve proudly stands as one of the pioneering cocktail caterers in the Netherlands.

During the first year of my studies, I was assigned to develop an expansion report for the company, focusing on their potential entry into the Hong Kong market. This project involved not only analyzing market opportunities but also adapting Shake and Serve's brand identity to resonate with Hong Kong's unique culture. The report provided strategic recommendations on how to tailor their offerings, branding, and marketing to align with local tastes and cultural nuances, ensuring a successful expansion into this vibrant city.

Collaborating with Belvedere Italy's Social Media Team

Impressed by my Iconic. In Nighttime. work, Belvedere Italy's Social Media team approached me for a collaboration.

They commissioned me to create a visual piece that encapsulated their core product in a fitting environment. The final work, titled True Purpose, was utilized by Belvedere Italy on their Instagram and other media platforms.

As an independent creative, I was commissioned by an emerging music artist to design album covers. The client envisioned a style that was iconic, cartoonish, and materialistic. I conceptualized the idea of taking iconic cartoon characters and infusing them with a materialistic aesthetic that resonated with the artist's vision.
